Oh you have no idea how ecstatic I am to have a beautifully finished tiled floor!!!
Although Sonny the dog, Chaton the mother cat, Fat Tony the kitten and I were all kicked out of the house for 6 hours on possibly the hottest day this summer at a balmy 34 degrees celcius! Boy it was hot!!!
We managed though. I brought my laptop downstairs to our backyard with Sonny, let the cats roam free and decided it was time to go through our 2000 wedding photos and condense them down to one cd from seven - something I've been putting off for two weeks! So it really was a win-win day for me and the hose was helpful to keep us cool.
And I really shouldn't complain - look at the back yard that I got to hang out in on a beautiful summer day! Ah relaxing!!!!
We're on week 3 with 2 weeks to go to finish our main level....next stop, new subfloors in the living and dining room and painting!
I love renovating, we're going to get our return on investment, it's all worth it in the end.....some things I keep saying to myself so I don't freak out! LOL!
