The title says it all - this is my first official blog post!
I'll start by telling you a little about myself. I'm a 30 something Ottawa Valley native who just recently (June) got married to my wonderful, caring and hunky long time boyfriend Andrew in Punta Cana.
About a year before we got married we started renovating our 1960's condo together from scratch with barely any experience. I come from a fairly artistic family - my father is a land developer/custom home builder, my mother is naturally artistic who draws, paints, designs home interiors and creates masterpieces. Andrew comes from a military family - his father a retired Colonel and mother a retired nurse. So our combined knowledge along with a few years worth of training for Andrew in carpentry brought us to where we are now in our renovations (which you'll soon see our progress)
The start of our reno's is what got me on to blogging actually - I started to search for design ideas on line and found great design bloggers and started following them in my spare time. I found them all to be such great help inspiring my own ideas for our first home....that plus the fact that I love to write, love taking photographs, finding great recipe ideas and of course fashion, fashion, fashion.
